Tiny Tiger and Karate Kid Star Awards

We believe that all great accomplishments in a child’s life should be cause for celebration. When our students work hard to achieve something outside of the Taekwondo School, we want to be part of that celebration. Our unique victory patch gives us that chance. To earn patches, students can be nominated for different colored 'Victory Stars' by their parents, friends and family or earn them on their own. When a student reaches a certain number of stars, Karate Kids will be awarded Life Skill patches to encircle the school patch and Tiny Tigers will earn Animal Patches to display on a Ninja headband.

At the beginning of each event the oath is as follows:
"Sir/Ma'am, I shall practice in the spirit of Taekwondo; with courtesy for fellow students, loyalty for my instructors and respect for my juniors and seniors, Sir/Ma'am"
At the end of the event, the promise is targeted more for behavior outside of the do-jahng:
"Sir/Ma'am, I shall live with perseverance in the spirit of Taekwondo; having honor for others, integrity within myself and self control in my actions, Sir/Ma'am"

Tiny Tiger Oath
Raise RIght Hand- "I promise to be a good person"
Ponit to head- "to have knowledge in my mind,"
Place hand over heart- "honesty in my heart,"
Make muscles with arms- "strength in my body,"
Pretend to shake hands- "to make good friends"
Tug on belt- "and to be a Black Belt, Sir/Ma'am"
